Urbex
Welcome to the world of urbex photography, where decaying buildings and forgotten places tell a story that has withstood the test of time. In my urbex photos, I explore the beauty of the unknown: abandoned factories, vacant houses, and industrial ruins silently waiting for their memories. Each image is a moment of discovery, where the past and nature meet. Let yourself be transported to the forgotten places hidden in our modern world.
TECHNIQUE
In urbex photography, the contrasts between dark and light areas are often very high due to low light and strong light sources. HDR (High Dynamic Range) helps solve this by merging multiple photos taken at different exposures into a single image where both shadows and highlights are clearly visible. This results in rich details and an impressive atmosphere in abandoned spaces. Using a tripod is important to keep the images aligned, and typically 3 to 5 different exposures are taken. The photos are processed with specialized software, focusing on achieving a realistic and atmospheric look. A popular HDR software is Photomatix Pro, which offers powerful tools for merging and editing HDR images.

In short, HDR enhances the mysterious and raw beauty of urbex locations by providing a greater dynamic range and detailed images.
